The International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) and the Canada IDDSI Reference Group are delighted to announce that we are hosting our first annual Canadian IDDSI Festival on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Humber College in Toronto, ON . This event is an ideal opportunity to network, discuss best practices and learn about innovations to support IDDSI implementation in Canada. The event is open to everyone who supports and/or implements the IDDSI framework.

The Canada IDDSI Festival will feature Dr. Catriona Steele as one of our keynote presenters with an opening welcome & IDDSI global update from Peter Lam, IDDSI Chairperson. Come and meet vendors and discuss IDDSI solutions, that will enable delegates to put theory into practice to be support residents and patients with dysphagia. Participate in educational and practical sessions and much, much more!

Tickets will only be sold until the purchase deadline, October 12th, 2023 4:00 PM.

‚ÄčQ: Will there be tickets available at the door?
A: No. Tickets are only available online.  Purchase your tickets early to secure your spot.

Q: I am no longer able to attend the event. What can I do?
A: Refunds will not be provided.  If you wish to instead give your seat to a colleague or another individual, please have them print out the ticket that was sent to your inbox. They will need this printed ticket to show proof. 

Q: What do I need to bring to the event?
A: All attendees MUST bring a printed copy of their ticket. This ticket should show your QR code and your name.

Q: What does my ticket price include?
A: Ticket price includes the following: full day admission, refreshments, lunch, free wifi and opportunity to visit with vendors, meet the CIRG team, network with other IDDSI users.
